Course Overview:
The next step in your sailing career.
Now that you know how to sail, you just might want to sail someplace special. This extension course to ASA 101 teaches the basics of how to cruise an auxiliary powered sailboat.
The course elaborates on lessons learned in Basic Keelboat Sailing, including safety, sail handling, the Rules and Regulations,  buoys, reading charts, weather, handling the boat under power, preparation, docking, anchoring and general seamanship.
When you have successfully completed this course you will be able to cruise safely during daylight in coastal waters. You will learn the secret of sailing- the greater pleasure lies in the trip, not the destination.
