Coastal Navigation will teach you the basics of charting and plotting.
In the age of GPS navigation it is still imperative to understand the chart and how to navigate using parallel rules, divider and pencil.
Taught in the Historic Twin Lights overlooking Sandy Hook and the Shrewsbury River.

Course to Steer, Safety Bearings, Time/Speed/Distance Calculations, Correcting Between True and Magnetic Headings, Buoys, Set and Drift Calculations, Dead Reckoning, Fixing a position, Tide and Current Tables
