Course Instructor: Captain Andrew Seligman
Captain Andrew Seligman actively partakes in racing and cruising sail boats, teaching sailing for American Sailing Association schools, and teaching sailing to new sailors at his sailing club. Andrew also instructs students to get their United States Coast Guard licenses.
Andrew has several licenses and certifications including various ASA Standard student certifications, and ASA Instructor certifications. Andrew has a USCG Masters license with commercial towing and sailing endorsements. Boating since he was eight years old and sailing for 13 years; "I was introduced to the sea before I could walk," Andrew says, whose grandparents and uncles were avid sailors.
Andrew is also an environmental scientist working for the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) spending some of his time working to help clean up the Chesapeake Bay.

Our Navigation Rules course is specially designed for the recreational mariner and will familiarize you with the steering and sailing rules including the conduct of vessels at all times, in sight of one another and in restricted visibility, ships lights, dayshapes, sound and light signals.
A one day comprehensive overview and review of the USCG Inland and International Rules of the Road is taught at our Highlands, NJ facility by Captain Andrew Seligman, USCG Licensed Master, ASA Certified Sailing Instructor, USCG Certified License Instructor.
The USCG Inland and International Rules Book (required to be aboard any vessel more than 39 feet in length) and Lunch are included.
